We are happy to  announce that a standard Cors-Air based paramotor was used to established a new World PPG Altitude Record in February, 2003!

A Spanish team of two PPG pilots made an attempt to beat the previous PPG World Altitude record established by a French pilot over Mt. Blank which was 17,200 feet/5243 meters.  Ramon Morillas and Cesar Maldonado, two very well known PPG World Champions attempted the flight at  Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa.

                                                               Mount Kikmanjaro

On February 6 2003,  flying in very turbulent conditions, Ramon Morillas achieved an altitude of 17,496 feet/5,333 meters!  He took of in Lerangua (Tanzania)  flew 150 Km and  landed in Moshi.  The machine was equipped with two additional 8 liter fuel tanks to make this record possible.

This World Record showed once again that the Cors-Air is a very powerful and  reliable engine.
