What's it like to Fly a
Powered Paraglider?
Have you
ever dreamed of running into the air with
your
feet
lifted off the ground where you can soar through the sky like a bird?
Flying a powered paraglider is like being set free to move and see the
world around you in three dimensions instead of two. The feeling
of freedom to navigate yourself through the air in relative slow
motion, compared to other aircraft, is dreamlike. You are not
racing through the air like you might drive your car on the
interstate. Its more like meandering through a hilltop
meadow with a fantastic panoramic view. Your 100th flight will
likely take your breath away the same way your first one will.
Just ask any powered paragliding pilot. The biggest problem we
have is the addiction-like quality that flyable air has for
us.
I
have helped hundreds of others achieve that feeling since 1998, and I
can
help
you too!
Powered
ParaGliding (PPG) is the most
exciting,
reasonably priced form of sport aviation. It allows the average
person
with the dream to fly, the thrill and true freedom of uncomplicated
personal flight. You can
transport your equipment in any car, setup in 15 minutes, and
take off from a nearby local ball
field. If you have a free hour, now
you
can go fly. PPG is as safe
as driving a car - it
depends on the
driver.
If the engine quits, you are already under a stearable paraglider
wing.
The most important factors to safe flight are good
equipment, thorough training, proper
weather conditions, and common
sense. Ohio Powered Paragliding
LLC is
dedicated
to promoting safe, fun, personal
flight. Powered Paragliding is considered an ultralight aircraft
so no license or registration is required to
fly
a solo PPG. Training is a must and we do fly under the rules of
the Ultralight Section of FAR Part 103. Click here for Federal
Aviation Regulation Part 103.
